That's 3 times Thor has been the 'bridesmaid', eagerly awaiting that coveted "Best Exhibit In Group" and becoming the 1st WSSD in Australia to appear in a Best in Show line-up.

He has been out of coat for some time now, that dreaded 'junior coat', but it's well on it's way back, looking forward to that glamorous adult coat, I'm sure 2011 will be 'his' year!

His sister Inga, Aust Ch Vallgardens Glitzy Glamour (Imp SWD) will be not be shown as much, she is titled & will be preparing for her first litter of puppies mid 2011.

Thor will be a regular campaigner around the rings as we work towards attaining his Grand.

Also like to give a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Josh Rattray. Finally Thor is now old enough to be used as a 'Junior Handler Dog', and what a team they made! Taking out 1st place in the 13 -18 age group. The cheers for Josh & Thor could be heard from every corner of the grounds!

We are so proud of Josh who worked really well with Thor, well done!

AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION TITLE! 
At the tender age of only 12 months & 9 days old.

We can proudly boast that our White Swiss Shepherd Dogs are:

** The Youngest Australian Champion WSSD's **
** The most awarded WSSD's in Australia **
** 1st & only WSSD's in Australia to win a class in show **
** 1st & only WSSD's in Australia to title with competiton **
** 1st & only imported WSSD's in Australia to title as 'Multi-Class in Group winners **
** Thor is also the 1st & only male WSSD Australian Champion **
** Thor is the 1st & only WSSD to win a Runner Up in Group! **

A huge thank you to all of the judges that have awarded Inga & Thor during their first 9 months of showing. In this time, Thor has emassed 235 points, and Inga 195 points.
We are also pleased to say they have shown consistency, being awarded from the baby class, right through to today as Juniors, under both local & international judges.

We now aim to have the 1st WSSD in Australia to become a GRAND CHAMPION!

It's hard to believe that a year has already passed since we first got the news of their birth, it's amazing how fast time flies & our little goofy pups are growing into elegant young adults. As they are now 12 months old, we can now get their final 25 points to become Australian Champions. So watch this space for an update soon!

Well, I am impressed. Two beautiful dogs with correct details for the breed. They both have very good pigmentation, well shaped dark eyes and well set ears. Both have an excellent neck and topline. Both of them are very young dogs, and so very promising. Good bone, personality, feet and angulation, and excellent movers. They have good coat quality; they could have a bit more undercoat but the colour is perfect. Congratulations.

A huge thank you to Mel Dean from BENSHIVA Border Collies for her excellent handling of our man! I caught glimpses through the trees (as I was handling GSD's up on the specialty rings LOL) and they made an excellent team & were even shortlisted for group, WOW.

 It's all very exciting, we now know which ones are OUR puppies!
